Jeff Ahearn

The Pulse is something Jeff Ahearn has been tapping out since his childhood.

Having spent over 30 years as a professional musician, Jeff has honed his skills to cover everything from Big Band Jazz and Highland Pipe Band Drumming through to any style he is required to play on Drum Kit or Latin Percussion. By day he teaches music to High School and TAFE students and is a quick study, be that “by ear” or by chart reading.

Jeff also has a great voice and can utilise it “out front” on the stage, or while he’s playing drums. Jeff provides both Lead vocals and Vocal Harmonies for TCB. He has fronted several bands from the “Kit” and notes The Beatles, LRB, The Eagles and America for teaching him Vocal Harmony.

Jeff has a variety of equipment to suit all Genres including Drum Kits of differing wood types (sonic properties), an array of Cymbals, a full Latin Percussion Set or his Roland Electronic Kit. He also has an extensive Drum Kit Microphone collection as well as several Sound Systems (including vocal/ instrument mics) and Lighting.
